Last updated: 12 October 2026

Sarab (“we”, “us”) is a clothing brand based in the United Arab Emirates. This page explains what personal data we collect through saraab.shop, why, and what your rights are. It is written with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data in mind.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist you give us:

We do not ask for payment details, ID numbers or addresses on the waitlist.

Why we use it

Only to contact you about Sarab Drop 01 and future drops: telling you when a drop opens, and understanding how many pieces to make in each colour and size. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.

Our legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form.

Who handles it for us

These providers act on our instructions. Because the data is stored outside the UAE, it is transferred internationally to Germany. When we start sending emails or messages, we will use a messaging provider and update this page.

Cookies and tracking

The site does not use cookies or advertising trackers. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites. It records anonymous data such as the page visited, the referring site, and your country, browser and device type. The page text fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when the page loads.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to remove it, or until 12 months after Drop 01 closes, whichever comes first.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. Email us at hello@saraab.shop from the address you signed up with and we will act on it promptly.

You may also complain to the UAE Data Office if you believe your data has been handled unlawfully.

Changes

If we change how we use your data we will update this page and the date above, and ask for your consent again where the law requires it.
